No adverts, no tracking
This site is ad-free and will stay that way. We do not run advertising, sponsored content or affiliate links, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies. Nobody pays to appear in or influence our guides.
How our guides are written
Our editorial team writes every guide from primary and official sources, including legislation.gov.uk, GOV.UK, the Civil Procedure Rules, Acas, the SRA and the Law Society. Each guide lists its sources and shows when it was published and last updated. We never publish invented statistics, testimonials or case studies. Read our editorial policy for the full details, including how we handle corrections.
What we cover
Our guides cover the law of England and Wales. Where the rules in Wales differ from England, or where Scotland or Northern Ireland have separate law, the guide says so.
